Happy Spring everyone! With a new season upon us, and one often seen as a period of refreshment, it seemed fitting to drop a new website and a bounty of new work on you all. 2009 brought with it a jolly good shake-up, you'll see some new approaches, a lot of playing, and a good dollop of experimentation.
The new site is designed to open up doors, roll-up the blinds, and generally knock down the walls into my creative life so those that are interested, get a better understanding of the environment I've made for myself. You'll be given more insights into how I develop my ideas, where they've come from, and how they grow. However, it's early days, any feedback on how this works for you would be
warmly welcomed.
Personally, 2010 has been great so far. I'm in a new live/work space, I'm getting married, and a fairly strange no rhythm and rhyme 2009 is behind us. Professionally, a lot of my time has been spent working with Heston Blumenthal's team for his new book and TV show 'Heston's Fantastical Feasts' - this is awesome! Working with both Grade Design and Bloomsbury Publishing, we've been working tirelessly to complete one hell of a print project. One with such richness and fun it had my knees knocking when I was being briefed in. I love collaborating with passionate people and this project has been a positive stew of them.I'll be firing out what we've been up to shortly, as it will be available in book shops late May. In the meantime, here are a couple of tasters from the last few months
to get things going. Lots more on the new site...hint hint.
