Going Gone Gorilla
375 & Friends
One of sixty life-sized gorilla sculptures created to celebrate Bristol Zoo's 175th birthday. 375 provided the concept of the butcher's diagram, asking Tom Lane & I to bring the idea to life by hand-lettering the facts about the bush-meat trade in Africa. The sculpture was then covered in a heat-sensitive black paint which revealed the information below when touched. After 10 weeks on display in Bristol, the sculpture was auctioned for local children's charities.
